"In the process of being trained as a life coach, I practiced with the others in my class - as both the coach, and as the client. Seeing how much I was helped personally when
I was the client validated that life coaching works. The relief I experienced and the new thinking has definitely changed my life." – Pat Hansen, Holistic Life Coach |
Pat Hansen, Holistic Life Coach | Author
Pat is a Certified Holistic Life Coach. She received her certification from the well respected Foundation for Holistic Life Coaching founded by Alan Cohen.* The program Is founded on holistic principles, recognizing client and coach as whole persons, honoring the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of each person’s life. Fundamental to the practice of life coaching is the belief that we all have the answers we need, inside. Learning to look within helps us to know what we need to do. A life coach guides the client to discover their inner wisdom and achieve clarity around any issue they are struggling with, or a goal they want to meet. The client need only be willing to make positive changes - knowing they truly deserve it. The job of a life coach is to become a partner in discovering that life needn't be a struggle, that removing thinking that gets in the way, or restrictions holding one back - can be highly empowering. The most frequent feeling experienced following a session is RELIEF. Pat provides a comfortable environment in which clients are invited to be 100% authentic, knowing the session is 100% confidential. She is a caring, compassionate person, and highly focused on her clients. In addition to her life coaching practice, Pat has just released her first book, My Human Being Owner's Manual. A workshop titled "The Life Upgrade Workshop" is in the works and will be offered nationally in the coming weeks! Prior to being trained as a Holistic Life Coach, Pat spent her entire career helping organizations and companies determine their unique essence and identity, and then convey them to their employees and customers through branding and communication. Her work at Hansen Design Company has been awarded and exhibited nationally and internationally. In her spare time, Pat loves giving back to her community. She is actively involved with Boys & Girls Clubs of King County and regularly offers her design and coaching skills to the area’s non-profits. Pat graduated from the University of Washington, has traveled and lectured globally, and is passionate about helping others. She lives in Seattle, Washington. *Alan is the author of 24 popular inspirational books, including the best-selling The Dragon Doesn’t Live Here Anymore, the award-winning A Deep Breath of Life, and the classic Are You as Happy as Your Dog?
